This post includes the final version of my final compositon. This piece will be presented in the Great North Museum on May 22nd. When composing this piece I chose to keep all of the audio tracks relatively raw because I wanted to draw
attention to the natural sounds you can hear. I did EQ the tracks because this allowed me to take out someo the muffled sounds such as traffic or aeroplanes overhead. It made the tracks feel clearer and helped to draw attention to the bird calls I am talking about in the piece. I am happy with the narrative I created because it feels sincere and natural from my perspective. It represents the admiration I have towards the wildlife. Each time I read through the piece my interpretation of the intonation differs but I think this adds a level of interpretation for others. If anyone else was to present my piece it would allow them to add personality to it, in their own way. Your browser does not support the audio element.
